STAFF PROFILES
GES highly values and is proud of the extensive energy conservation experience of its staff. Below are profiles of the senior staff involved in most GES projects.
 
BASU MUKHERJEE, P.E. - PRESIDENT

Mr. Mukherjee has been actively involved in designing electrical power distribution, lighting systems and energy conservation projects for 25 years. He has consulted for Southern California Edison, PG&E, Pacific Bell, Boeing, JPL, AT&T, USAID, World Bank, California Energy Commission and other major clients.

He holds a BSEE degree and a MS degree in Engineering Management from the University of Southern California, where he is an adjunct Professor. He is a California State Registered Professional Engineer (P.E. Electrical), and a contributing member of IESNA and IEEE.

 
CHARLES S. O'CONNOR - DIRECTOR INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS

Mr. O'Connor has more than 10 years of experience in energy auditing over 1000 commercial and industrial buildings involving Lighting, HVAC and other energy saving measures. He has designed a special software program to help energy audit major lighting installations, calculate energy savings and payback analysis. Mr. O'Connor has extensive experience in conducting seminars and training classes, and has widely lectured in the field of energy conservation.

S.D. MODAK - V.P. OPERATIONS

Mr. Modak, has been actively involved in Energy Efficiency and DSM projects with International Consultants for over 29 years in India. He has also worked with KFW Bank for Infrastructure Development like Drinking water, Effluent Treatment and Solid Waste Management in 81 Municipal bodies of West Bengal. He is post Graduate in Energy Conservation and management from ILO Turin Center and NPC, India. He has a wide experience in organizing Energy Efficiency projects in almost all types of Industries, Distribution Loss Reduction in Electrical systems, Municipal bodies, and commercial establishments. He has a very wide experience in Training Industrial Personnel in Energy Efficiency and DSM strategy implementation. He also has been working on performance improvement of various Power generation systems starting from 210 Mwe power stations to SPV systems. 

He is also actively involved in transferring experience gained in the field to the students through lectures and training to the students of School of Energy Studies, Jadavpur University and Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business management, He is also working on various projects for PIN and PDD development required for Carbon Trading.
