CLEO - Chinese language Efficiency Outreach©

GES's Chinese Language Efficiency Outreach (CLEO) program was selected for program cycles 2002-2003 and 2004-2005 for implementation in Southern California Edison, Southern California Gas Co. in Los Angeles and Pacific Gas and Electric in San Francisco. GES designed and implemented the energy information program, which offered seminars, energy audits, phone audits and media marketing in Chinese.

Project: DSM Program Design & Implementation
Client: Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, Cities of Burbank, Pasadena & Glendale.
Consulted on projects to help Utilities design rebate programs for lighting, motors and variable frequency drives. Appropriate rebates were calculated by taking baseline considerations, which essentially are standards enforced by local Building and Safety officials based on Title-24 of the California Energy Commission. We also advised on rebate structure for efficient lighting and motors and on state of the art controls. Rebates were linked up to a custom program based on the utilities long-term avoided costs.

City Of Anaheim:
GES designed a highly successful green Schools Program based on a propriety Photocell CFL technology and a practical win-win program delivery method. 
LIGHTENUP - PORCH LIGHTING EFFICIENCY PROGRAM

Students received free Dusk to Dawn CFL's in unbreakable Styrofoam packaging along with energy efficiency and Utility program information. The City of Anaheim commended GES on this unique program.
